In Bordeaux for a round table on the governance of the Euro zone

Yves Bertoncini prononces the opening adress of one of the Round tables of the conference organized in Bordeaux on the 29 and 30 November 2012 on the Eurozone governance.

The theme of the round table is: what room for democracy in the new governance mechanisms of the Eurozone?

The speakers of the round table are:

– Françoise Castex, member of the European parliament;
– Pascal Kauffmann, Economy professor at the Université Montesquieu – Bordeaux IV;
– Stéphanie Riso, Head of Unit “Fiscal policies and surveillance” at the DG ECFIN of the European Commission.

The round table is chaired by Jean Petaux, Directeur de la Communication de Sciences Po Bordeaux
