At la Mutualité for a debate on “Building Europe, one project, several generations”
SeeIntroduction of the debate between Valéry Giscard d’Estaing and Jacques Delors with young Europeans on the occasion of the launch of the Eustory France Competition “Building Europe, one project, several generations”, organised by Notre Europe on Wednesday 14 November 2012 at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris.
This debate, moderated by Arnaud Leparmentier (journalist, Le Monde), allows six European students to interview the two former students, President of the Republic and President of the European Commission respectively. They are asked about their vision of the progress achieved by European integration over the past 60 years, the crisis facing the EU and the common future.
This event marks the launch of the Eustory competition in France, a history competition for young people from more than 22 European countries. It is organised in partnership with the Association of Professors of History Geography (APHG), the European Parliament of Young France, Eustory – The history network for Young Europeans, La Sorbonne, La Maison de la Mutualité and Toute L’Europe.eu.
