In Paris : awarding the “European City Label”
At the Paris City Hall on Friday, November 19, 2021 to inaugurate the “European City Label” awarded by the Young Europeans – France, the European Movement – France and the Union of European Federalists, in the presence of Hermano Sanches-Ruivo Deputy for Europe to the Mayor of Paris.
Created in 2019, the European City Label already includes more than 40 municipalities of all sizes, urban and rural, and constitutes a network of solidarity, involved in an Europe of territories. Paris is one of the six municipalities recognized as model cities in the European City Label network, alongside Arras, Rouen, Nantes, Reims and Poitiers. They are rewarded with a plaque for their actions to promote Europe on various themes: citizenship, education, cooperation and culture.
