On BFM : the Franco-German recovery plan, a step forward for the EU

Invited to “Live BFM” on Tuesday 19 May to analyse the Franco-German recovery plan to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.

An opportunity to welcome a very strong political announcement, particularly in a Franco-German framework, and a very important step forward for the construction of Europe, which the other 25 EU countries are called upon to validate.

Also an opportunity to recall that France has already achieved significant progress in financial and budgetary matters (ECB activism, activation of the rescue plans for Greece and 3 other countries, etc.), and that this new progress confirms that Germany accepts financial solidarity, even if reluctantly.
