For him, after long negotiations that showed serious differences, the casting was more a result of a “soft agreement” than a positive agreement, as Emmanuel Macron stated.

The President of the European Movement – France concluded his speech by stating that European decisions are slow but that it is necessary to know how to “patiently build this Europe in a world where we are no longer the centre of the world and facing challenges such as climate change, collective security challenges, economic challenges”. In particular, he reminded us that he makes us “unite more even if unity is a struggle that is not easy to win and is not over because it is an everyday struggle”.
