Guest of the France 24 1 p.m. news programme on 9 May to discuss the main challenges facing the European Union 70 years after the Schuman Declaration.

An opportunity to pay tribute to the progress made since 1950 and to underline that it is the spirit of concord and mutual respect that is often lacking during the crises faced by Europeans, even if they always end up forging the compromises needed to consolidate and deepen their Union.

Also an opportunity to stress that the impact of the judgment of the Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe will be less legal than political, and that it reveals the confusion of many Germans with regard to the developments that have taken place in the management of Economic and Monetary Union over the last ten years.
