This policy-paper published by Confrontations Europe puts into perspective the significance of the few European Parliament votes won thanks to a conjunction of votes from right-wing and far-right groups. Does this “decision-making coagulation” between conservatives and the far right reflect an institutional, ideological and philosophical rapprochement that is likely to recur in the long term, or does it rather reflect considerations of an ad hoc, even tactical nature?
