A declaration to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration of 9 May 1950, paying tribute to the spirit of harmony and cooperation that animated it, particularly in Franco-German relations.
An opportunity to call for deepening the European construction by consolidating its major “concrete achievements” (single market, euro zone, Schengen…), by creating a “health community” commensurate with the crisis of COVID-19, but also by looking to the world to combine the logic of reconciliation with the logic of assertion of the interests and values of our continent.
