My publications analyse the main challenges facing the EU and its Member States: reactions to the crisis in the euro zone and the refugee crisis, European mobility and the Schengen area, adapting to globalisation, changes in the EU budget, etc.
My publications also cover developments in the functioning of the European Union, including reforms of the European institutions, the adoption of new treaties, the impact of Community law at national level, etc.
Many of my publications concern relations between citizens and the European Union: they cover the democratisation of European integration, European elections and the European Parliament, referendums on European issues, public opinion’s perception of the EU, etc.
