In Utrecht for a debate of what hold Europe together
Yves Bertoncini, director of the Jacques Delors Institute, speaks in the opening plenary of the European green party 24th council, which takes place in Utrecht on the 20-22 May 2016, in order to show what can, must and will hold Europe together. To which degree can we build on the existing European narrative and to which degree should we reformulate the narrative itself?
He debates with :
– Charles Grant, Founder and Director of the Centre for European Reform;
– Flavia Kleiner, Co-President of the movement “Operation Libero”;
– Daniela Schwarzer, Senior director of research, director of the Europe Program and the Berlin office at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).
The opening plenary is chaired by Reinhard Bütikofer, Co-Chair of the European Green Party and Member of the European Parliament (Greens/EFA).
