In Les Echos : considering the Visegrad group countries

In Les Echos on 18 February 2021 for a contribution to an article by Catherine Chatignoux commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad group under the title: “The four Visegrad countries, a group to be reckoned within Europe from now on“.

The occasion to underline that “These countries, which express a “sovereignist” sensibility and are uncomfortable with the Brussels hold, must be considered and listened to with what they express in terms of respect for national identities”. And to add that the danger, “if they are despised too much”, “is that they will become the relay for interests outside Europe, whether Russia, China or even the United States”.
